Get ready for the Fall Book Sale! Friday, Nov. 26th
Friends of the Lopez Island Library expects a big turnout for the book sale on the day after Thanksgiving. There'll be some tremendous bargains, including the ever popular, "Buy a book bag and fill it for free" deal. Come early before the bags sell out! Kudos to our hard-working volunteers who work all year sorting and preparing for our twice a year book sales. Here are some examples of where the money goes:

Architectural fees for the Reading Rooom addition to be started in 2011

Join us for the Mike Mason - Author Talk on Nov 13, 5:00 p.m.
Mike Mason is the best-selling author of The Mystery of Marriage, The Gospel According to Job, and Practicing the Presence of People. He and his wife, Karen, an M.D. in general practice, live in Langley, British Columbia, Canada, with their amazing daughter, Heather.
Mike will be talking about his newest release, The Blue Umbrella, his first fantasy novel.

New Fee Implemented
Just a reminder, any "lost" items replaced will also be charged a $15.00 replacement fee to cover supplies and staff time (in addition to the cost of the item). So look around diligently for those books before declaring them lost.
